Ever dream of driving cattle like they do out west? Here is your opportunity to try your hand and your horse at moving 30 plus cattle two miles across our property, zig zagging through pastures, woods and creeks. Working together as a team of 7 plus, we will venture out from the barn to locate the cattle within the 400 acre property. Once they are located they will be rounded up and slowly driven through the property until they reach the ending point. This experience will take between 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Riding experience is necessary, however cow handling experience is not required, this is for beginners to introduce you and your horse to cattle. Each attendee will be given a position and taught their responsibility's by their guide. This is an amazing team building exercise for the group, the riders and the horses.
"This event requires that you bring your own horse. Mustang Meadow will not provide or rent any of our horses for the cattle drive."
Following the drive, participants will ride back to a private camp area to enjoy a catered BBQ lunch and campfire.
Tie ups, Hay and Water will be provided at the camp.
Non alcoholic beverages will be provided. Feel free to BYOB, we will transport it to the camp.
Please arrive by 10:00 am so you have time to tack up sign in and receive instruction. Round up will begin between 10:30 and 11:00.
